Making a positive impact

Jaimi Shanahan joined Green Park in 2010 progressing through the organisation from Researcher through to the position she holds now as a Director. She helped to build the practice from our work with charities and social enterprises into the Civil Society and Government Practice over this time. Jaimi has extensive experience of delivering on CEO, SLT, Chair, Trustee and NED appointments across sectors, now leading our Communities and Place practice across our work encompassing young people and families, housing, homelessness, poverty and community engagement. Jaimi is passionate about social mobility and working with organisations that make a positive impact for our communities and enhance people’s opportunities for the future.

Competencies and confidence

Jaimi brings a background in research and analysis and has been instrumental to the production of the practices’ thought leadership and facilitation of sector roundtable events. She has also worked with the OnBoard Programme supporting people from underrepresented and non-traditional backgrounds to enhance their board-level competencies and confidence through training and mentoring. She has had 10 years’ experience in a governance role as Trustee of a local arts charity. Jaimi also has lived experience of living with an invisible disability.
