Green Park, one of Europe’s fastest growing Executive Search and Interim Management consultancies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor Phillips OBE as Chairman of the Board of Directors.  In addition, Jo Sweetland Managing Partner of Green Park’s Private Sector Practice has been appointed to the Board.

Trevor Phillips steps up to the role of Chairman after serving as a Non-Executive Director advising the Board since April 2017. Trevor brings a breadth of strategic business leadership and a proven track record of accomplishments across multiple industries. The founding Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, and the first elected chair of the Greater London Authority, Trevor’s expertise in diversity and inclusion complements Green Park’s core business values.

A writer and broadcaster, Trevor is also co-founder of Webber Phillips Ltd a leading data analytics provider and has served as President of the Partnership Council of the John Lewis Partnership.  Trevor is currently Chair of the New York-based corporate leadership think-tank The Center for Talent Innovation; and also Chair of Index on Censorship, the international campaigning and publishing group promoting freedom of expression. A former ITV executive, he remains active in the creative industries, writing regularly for several national newspapers and serving as a board member of London’s Barbican Centre and of Headlong Theatre. Trevor has been the recipient of several honorary doctorates, an OBE and was awarded the Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur by the French Government.

New Board appointee Jo Sweetland is recognised as one of the leading HR recruitment specialists in the UK and internationally, she will offer a strong voice representing the firm’s practice leaders and employees.  Jo leads the Private Sector Practice at Green Park, focussing on Executive Search and Interim appointments across numerous industries.  An award-winning consultant with nearly 20 years of executive recruitment experience, Jo will provide a vital link between the Board, Executive Leadership Team and the business as a whole.
