Executive recruitment and diversity consultancy Green Park has been awarded the Recruitment Agency of the Year – Medium accolade at the virtually held Recruiter Awards 2020, following a year of growth and notable industry accomplishments.

Sponsored by CV Library and open to all recruitment, executive search and interim management firms with a UK presence of 50 -199 employees, the award recognises firms with exceptional financial performance who have enhanced the recruitment agency industry’s reputation in the UK business world over the last year. The judges noted that Green Park’s nomination was a stand-out winner based upon every example provided feeding back to their core focus of being a true partner of talent for developing diversity & inclusion.

With an Absolute Revenue Growth of 242% over three years, the award follows Green Park’s entry into the Financial Times’ list of Europe’s 1000 Fastest Growing Companies and the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 ranking Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales.

Founded in 2006 as a challenger brand, Green Park’s success reaches beyond profit, having raised the bar across the recruitment industry for outstanding customer care, diverse executive talent pools and ethical & inclusive practices. Championing diversity and inclusion since inception, Green Park has advocated the acceleration of high-calibre diverse leaders into senior executive and board positions across the UK’s public, private and not-for-profit sectors. In 2019, Green Park placed a diverse leader on a board every 8 days and has pledged to make that a daily occurrence by 2025.

Other significant accomplishments throughout 2019 contributing to their win include: an increase in profit per head; a reduction in time taken to make a placement; expansion of capabilities with strategic hires and increased head count; significant investments in technology & software; the launch of a new website with improved accessibility and usability; accreditations for quality & environmental standards, cyber security, FTSE 350 female board placements, AA compliance and interim management provision; and original research into the diversity composition of UK leadership contributing to transparency across sectors.

Established in 2002, the Recruiter Awards gala is the UK’s largest event for the entire recruitment community recognising outstanding achievements by agencies and in-house recruiters, with the title of Recruitment Agency of the Year being one of the industries most prestigious.

Raj Tulsiani, Co-founder and CEO of Green Park, states: “We are very happy to be recognised for our efforts on a national scale and very grateful to our clients and candidates and those who have helped support our gaols.”

“Like other firms we have faced our challenges over the last few months and like many have had to revaluate our purpose and mechanisms for staying relevant. The integrity of our brand is important to me and I am hugely grateful to our team for their hard work and commitment to upholding the Green Park values. The reality is that we have built a reputation for the quality of our advice, our ability to provide clients with a wider choice and our willingness to challenge the status quo, which they cannot get anywhere else.”

A decade of structuring our thinking from our own lived experience means we are diverse by design, not late to the D&I party or commercial voyeurs. I hope this awards means more great diverse thinkers recognise Green Park’s positioning as a business that campaigns, as well as performs, and whose unique perspective on talent can help them achieve their own goals.”
