The Requirement

Sonnedix is a leading international renewable energy producer. When Sonnedix required an interim CIO and Cyber Security Expert, they turned to Green Park. Green Park was chosen because they have a long standing relationship with Group HRD who we have successfully supported as both a client and an interim. Our CEO was also invited as guest speaker at Sonnedix global D&I conference.

The vision was that the roles would review how the business manages its IT and Data and develop suitable strategy to support continued business growth.

Sonnedix is a leading international renewable energy producer. With over a decade-long trajectory of sustainable growth, Sonnedix develops, builds, and operates renewable energy projects for the long-term, with a focus on providing green, affordable electricity.

The Challenge

Client traditionally outsourced IT and Data and was looking to identify if doings in house would support their continued Growth Strategy and support their acquisition plan.

The Project

Green Parked worked to identify a Board level CIO with successful track record of delivering transformation to advise on technology strategy to support continued business growth.

Candidates needed an established track record as advisers achievement in their field, experience of working at board level, a keen interest in, and ability to connect strongly with, the Sonnedix vision and values. They also needed to be able to if required move to a permanent position if required.

Green Park then worked closely with CIO to build EMEA Transformation team which included developing job specs, agreeing program deliverables and the statement of works. They were also involved in managing interim performance.

The Result

Our Green Park consultants used their expertise to add value wherever possible. CIO’s proposals were approved by Board and candidate joined on a permanent basis.
