Green Park was tasked with identifying a Senior Finance Business Partner, to be based in Seattle to work across 2 school campuses. This role is integral to supporting the development and implementation of best financial practices, ensuring accurate financial forecasting, and partnering with Heads of Schools to achieve financial targets and objectives.
The Process
Previous local sourcing methodologies had not delivered the depth of the candidate pool needed, so we embarked on a targeted search across the education and commercial sectors all within a reasonable commute to the schools.
The local recruitment market in Washington State (Seattle) is vibrant with key global companies dominating the talent pools. However, we felt this proposition would suit the female talent we were targeting both from a values position (education) and the flexibility this role would allow for a combination of work, office and school work.
Despite the challenges of the local market, we felt that certain sectors had not been fully explored and we have a track record of successfully securing talent by conducting full research across many complementary sectors.
The Results
We delivered a long list of highly credentialled candidates within 4 weeks of the briefing and moved to shortlist 2 weeks later. Despite searches having been conducted previously, there was no crossover with candidates previously seen by ISP. After Client interviews we moved to offer speedily and were able to secure a first-rate candidate who coincidentally knew the schools very well as her children were educated in both!
