Joanna Moriarty joined Green Park in 2015, and became a Partner in 2020. She has a background in senior leadership in the charities sector, and brings to Green Park her experience as a Trustee for organisations including ODST (a top ten Multi-Academy Trust) and Feed the Minds, a charity focused on women’s literacy and social inclusion in the developing world.
Joanna works across the remit of the Civil Society and Government team. She leads on Arts and Heritage, Trusts and Foundations and the Faith Practice, and works with charities, Arm’s Length Bodies, NHS Trusts and Government. Her recent appointments include CEOs, Chairs, trustees and NEDs, and include a focus on roles within boards which combine finance and investment expertise with a strong understanding of social purpose.
Joanna has experience in Board review, and in restructuring Boards to reflect the more complex demands on governance in a changing sector. She is committed to ensuring that the sector becomes more diverse at senior and board levels, and works with organisations such as Clore Leadership to help organisations at all scales make this a reality. She sat on the Archbishops’ Antiracism Task Force, which created an action plan to widen participation across the Church of England.
