The leadership 2,000 released by Green Park, the executive search firm, maps the ethno-cultural and gender diversity of the most senior leaders in the UK’s largest charities. Released for the first time this year as part of Green Park’s leadership series the report also includes a diversity index. This index ranks the top 25 Major UK Charities based on the successful diversification of their leadership teams and is calculated by averaging each of their ethno-cultural and gender diversity representation.

Ranking at the top of the list is Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), a development charity that has an ambition to beat poverty around the world. With a commitment to the agenda of “leaving no-one behind”, VSO recognises the importance of reflecting the diversity of the people they serve through an inclusive and multi-cultural leadership team.
