Green Park has been nominated for two honours by the annual Recruiter Awards: Agency Recruitment Leader of the Year and Recruitment Agency of the Year.
Established in 2002, the Recruiter Awards Gala is the UK’s largest event for the entire recruitment community recognising outstanding achievements by agencies and in-house recruiters. The final award winners will be announced at the event on 3rd May 2017.
Raj Tulsiani, Co-founder and CEO of Green Park has been nominated as Agency Recruitment Leader of the Year. The leader of one of the industry’s few minority owned businesses, Raj is a passionate advocate of the power of diversity as a source of competitive advantage, leading a team that sets the benchmark for consistently attracting diverse groups of appointable candidates.
Raj also acted as a contributor for the Parker Review, Sir John Parker’s study into the Ethnic Diversity of UK Boards, published on 2nd November 2016, as an advisor to the Prime Ministers Implementation Office and has established Green Park’s not-for-profit Diversity Recruitment Institute for Value and Excellence (DRIVE), which aims to effect an extra 150,000 diverse hiring choices over the next five years.
2016 was a pivotal year for Green Park. In addition to achieving a 40% increase in company turnover (repeating the performance of its last full financial year), the agency secured some of its most prestigious assignments to date, including the total remodeling of TFL’s board following Sadiq Khan’s appointment as the Mayor of London.
Green Park has also significantly increased its company profile through the publications of in-depth market research and analysis reports that include The Green Park Leadership 10,000, a review of diversity amongst the 10,000 top jobs in the FTSE 100, The Green Park Public Service Leadership 5,000, a review of diversity in the UK’s public sector and The DNA Future Retail CEO, a report developed in partnership with the World Retail Congress that maps out the necessary skill sets required of senior retailers to develop through this mandatory phase of business transformation.
