Recruitment consultancy Green Park launches well-being app for employees and customers

Executive recruitment and diversity consultancy Green Park has partnered with mental health experts, Dont Mind Group, to launch a mobile application for ‘whole soul’ well-being to support their employee and customer network during Covid-19 lockdown measures and boost mental health.

Launched during Mental Health Awareness Week 2020, Green Park Well-being+, is a holistic tool for supporting Green Park’s employees, candidate and clients by helping them to track and improve their psychological, physical and emotional well-being and boost their happiness. Green Park are the first recruiter to provide such a resource and are rolling it out, alongside free therapy sessions for their staff, at a time when many are experiencing  increased anxiety, stress and depression as a result of the corona virus pandemic.

Built by Dont Mind Group who have been providing therapy services for over 20 years, the core of the app is a bespoke algorithm that accurately calculates an individual’s current state of well-being. Other features include: educational well-being articles; mindfulness, mediation and exercise videos; a safe conversation forum moderated by qualified staff and the ability to book sessions with qualified therapists. Available on both iOS and Android platforms, the app is available for free to all Green Park employees, candidates and clients, as well as their friends, families and loved ones.

The launch of Green Park Well-being+ is part of Green Park’s five year commitment to supporting positive social and environmental impact as it works towards its goal to place a diverse leader on a board every day by 2025, up from every eight days in 2019. In January, the recruiter kicked off this commitment with a pledge to plant a tree for every candidate placed throughout 2020 and to date has donated to plant over 100 trees.

An award-winning consultancy, Green Park offers Executive Search, Interim Management, Board Advisory, Diversity & Inclusion and Managed Service People Solutions across the private, public and third sectors. In 2019, Green Park was the only recruiter to feature on the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, an index of the UK’s fastest growing privately owned companies, achieving sales of £90.1 million in its last financial year.

Co-founder and CEO of Green Park, Raj Tulsiani comments: “In many ways, the coronavirus crisis has been a wake-up call for businesses. Before the pandemic, organisations were slowly embracing inclusivity and acknowledging its benefits. Now, it’s clear that inclusivity is critical for workers’ wellbeing and without it, they risk worsening mental health which can negatively impact all aspects of a person’s life.

I am therefore very pleased to have teamed up with Dont Mind Group, whose values very much complement our own, and to bring Green Park’s employees and VIP network a well-being resource at a time that many of us need it most. This is our gesture to say thank you and in someway repay their support with a little of our own.

Craig Ing, Founder of Dont Mind Group, comments: “To date most companies are, at best, box ticking when it comes to providing mental health support interventions.  Particularly now with the current pandemic it is more important than ever for companies to actively invest in supporting their staff.  Dont Mind Group is delighted to be part of the Green Park initiative as not only are the employees and the VIP network being supported, but using the Friends and Family feature within the app, the families of those individuals can also benefit from the support and content.  Within the first few weeks of usage we have already seen an increase in the overall level of wellbeing at the company which is fantastic.  I offer my personal thanks to Raj and his team for leading the way with this important initiative.”
