Green Park Has Been Awarded with the Prestigious Race Equality Matters Trailblazer Status

In recognition of their work to address racial inequality within the organisation, global talent advisory firm Green Park has been awarded with the Race Equality Matters Bronze Trailblazer Status.

An industry pioneer in building diverse, senior leadership teams and more equitable workplace cultures, Green Park is one of fifteen organisations to qualify for the status, since its launch.

Judged by an independent panel of experts, Bronze is the first stage in the Trailblazer series spotlighting organisations that are implementing impactful solutions to drive race equality. This is for organisations that have implemented Race Equality Matters solutions and/or have taken action on race inequality in other ways.

Green Park’s application demonstrated action that was considered by the judges to be inclusive, endorsed by ethnically diverse employees and making meaningful impact in tackling racial inequality. This included:

  • Founding the Green Park Foundation, which aims to deliver £1million of social value per annum, working with grassroot organisations to improve the lives of young people and create more sustainable, equitable future.
  • The development of the Cultural Audit, Review and Engagement (CARE) framework, delivered by Green Parks Diversity, Inclusion, Culture & Ethics (DICE) Consultancy Practice to over 2000 people nationwide.
  • Their involvement in the launch of Race Equality Week and the award-winning #MyNameIs campaign and Fu Net Ic tool; encouraging individuals to share the phonetic spelling of their names to tackle common racial microaggressions and achieving a readership of 165 million.

Becoming a Trailblazer means the work Green Park has done has resulted in change and made an impact across the breadth of the entire organisation and those they work with.

Raj Tulsiani, CEO of Green Park, comments:

We are delighted to have been awarded Race Equality Matters Trailblazer Status and to be recognised with the fifteen other applicants for our impact towards progressing equity, diversity & Inclusion. Around 60% of the entries submitted for the status were not awarded by the independent judging panel, which energises us to continue our work helping others think differently about talent and build the capability and structure to drive increased inclusion.”

“In the tight labour market conditions that we expect to see continue for the next seven to ten years, it will be especially important to leverage value through the relationship between inclusion, engagement and productivity. We will continue to look inward to our own organisation and the lessons we learn through our clients to ensure the UK workplace is one where people are supported, included and able to thrive.”

Race Equality Matters is a not-for-profit that aims to be the catalyst to move organisations and individuals from just talking, to taking meaningful action that has a real impact on tackling race inequality. Formed in response to 2020’s Black Lives Matter movement, Race Equality Matters co-creates concepts and solutions in collaboration with those with lived experience of race inequality and develops the tools and know-how for them to be implemented.

Green Park is an award-winning talent acquisition and organisational consultancy that operates in the intersecting fields of talent, diversity and brand.
