Top consultancy EY has partnered with Green Park on the search for a senior and experienced Chief Financial Officer for our £1bn+ business. The new appointment will join the senior leadership team and report jointly to the UK&I Chief Operating Officer and Global Group CFO.

The role of UK CFO, will be expected to be a trusted partner to the business and provide strategic advice to senior leaders in our business to drive leading financial performance whilst maintaining the reputation of the firm. The CFO will also be required to play the more traditional roles of ‘steward/operator’, preserving the assets of the organisation as well as running a tight finance operation that is efficient and effective.

David Sayers, Head of Green Park’s Financial Officer Practice, will be leading the search. David’s career has spanned over 30 years primarily as Finance Director within the global property sector and headhunting across the C-suite community. During this time, he has worked for both FTSE and privately-owned recruitment businesses as well as having successfully launched and developed his own practice.

An experienced advisor on many issues surrounding CFO-level strategic requirements, David is regularly brought in by the Board when they are looking to secure their new Group Finance lead, as well as being mandated by the CFO when an organisation is looking to strengthen their teams to meet the demands of an ever-changing business landscape.

David comments, “ This is an incredible opportunity to join a world Class organisation at a time of change and transformation across the whole sector. EY has lead the way on many initiatives and we are looking to secure an extraordinary professional who can lead their finance team and advise the Senior teams in the next phase of growth. “

The search for EY’s UK Chief Financial Officer is currently underway and applicants can find more information at job/private-sector/uk-chief-financial-officer-ey/j157/
