Session Takeaways: Why Should Businesses Engage in Social Value?
Green Park’s first inaugural Global Talent Conference was held 20-21 September 2023 with the objective of facilitating interesting discussions, shared learnings, and insights from a wide range of experts who operate within the talent space. We have produced a series of takaways for each session, for your convenience.
The second track of the conference looked at "How to Move the Dial on Social Value & Social Mobility". We opened this theme with a panel discussion with Richard Dickson, Co-Founder and Head of Engagement at Play it Green; Katherine Gansallo, Diversity & Inclusion Director of the London Stock Exchange Group; Javed Thomas, Co-Founder of Race Equality Matters; Charlie Wigglesworth, Deputy CEO of Social Enterprise UK; and Sharon Spice (moderator), Chief Marketing and Value Officer at Green Park.
Topics explored by the panel included what social value is and its benefits, as well as demonstrating engagement and impact.
