Why Chemistry Matters
Like most great stories, the Green Park story can be plotted by memorable way-points and summits of achievement that we have enjoyed throughout our journey.
Our twelfth year marks a particularly thrilling chapter, with nine award wins, a further five nominations and a renewed proposition; a game-changer in our firm’s history.
Our resonating message and efficient business practice have seen the successful growth of our executive search, interim management, board advisory and diversity & inclusion consultancy markets whilst simultaneously expanding our services into the realm of outsourced volume recruitment and managed services through our People Solutions offering.
With the turbulent political landscape in the UK, we realise that our voice as a force for change has never been more crucial. We’re proud to be a vital mouthpiece for BAME and gender diverse leadership candidates in such an important, continually evolving conversation, just as we are determined to continually campaign to change the face of future leadership.
It is a great honour to have been recognised for this commitment as change-makers and, for our contribution to the recruitment industry, which at the start of 2018 achieved a total revenue of £32.2 billion, having employed over 100,000 people.
AWARD WINS
The year got off to a great start as Green Park were ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Recruitment Agency of the Year’ category at the Recruiter Awards, widely recognised as one of the largest recruitment awards events in the UK, so as you can imagine, a very proud moment for the team.
Our summer season went off with a bang as Green Park’s CEO, Raj Tulsiani, was featured on the EmPower List 2018, an index of leading ethnic minority business leaders across the UK, Ireland, United States and Canada; followed shortly by Managing Partner, Neil Lupin, and Associate Partner, James Nash, being named as Leading Interim Provider Consultants by the Institute of Interim Management (IIM) with Green Park also being awarded Platinum Interim Service Provider status.
With Autumn came a flurry of award wins at multiple industry events, with Green Park collecting three awards in the space of a week. At the Recruitment International Awards, Green Park took home the Diversity & Inclusion Champion Award, Raj won Entrepreneur of the Year and his winning streak continued when he was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the MSDUK Awards, which recognises achievements in Diversity & Inclusive Procurement. Green Park was also shortlisted for the Growth Business of the Year award at the Asian Business Awards.
In November, we were named Diversity & Inclusion Champion at the Inclusive Companies Awards and, shortly afterwards, were highly commended by the Global Equality & Diversity Awards for the Lord Noon Award, recognising our outstanding contribution to increasing boardroom diversity. Then, to top off a wonderful year, Raj Tulsiani won ‘Business Leader of the Year’ at the IRP Awards, which recognises recruitment excellence.
We’re extremely proud to celebrate our achievements this year, and we remain hopeful that diversity & inclusion in leadership continues to drive and shape the recruitment strategies within some of the largest companies in the UK.
At Green Park, we’ll continue to break down the barriers that hinder organisations from realising the benefits of a diverse workforce, as we boldly ramp up our campaign to change how organisations think about talent. Watch this space as this story is to be continued.
