Green Park is extremely proud to have been shortlisted in three different categories at this year’s Recruiter Awards. But it’s our nomination for Recruitment Agency of the Year that shows just how far we’ve come as a team.

This has been an incredible year for Green Park, with achievements coming thick and fast. Recently ranked third in the Recruiter Fast 50 and runner up in the Recruiter Hot 100, Green Park’s turnover has risen 39% in just 12 months. At the same time, the team has grown by 20%, helping to transform the business from dynamic start-up to an established, leading-edge contender. But while the balance sheet is exciting, it’s not the only reason we are proud of our journey. With a purpose that goes far beyond financial gain, we aim to change the world of work, setting – and meeting – higher standards within the recruitment industry.

A voice for change

One of the ways we seek to do this is through innovating diversity best practice through our dedicated D&I consultancy. Partnering with organisations, we help leaders meet the aspirations of the people who work there and the culture they want to create.

As a voice for greater transparency and accountability, Green Park have published three original reports into the current state of diversity in the UK’s most senior positions, including our first ever Third Sector and Local Government Sector-specific reports. We’ve also published our third Top 100 BAME Leaders in Business Index, celebrating the achievements of ethnic minority talent in the UK. Featuring in national broadsheets and trade media, these reports provide Green Park with a platform to lobby for legislative change and encourage organisations to demand more from the headhunting industry.

A growing reputation as diversity champions, we have advised the PM’s Office on government-backed landmark diversity reviews, including the Parker Review – a study into the ethnic diversity of UK Boards – and the Hampton-Alexander Review – reviewing the number of women in senior leadership positions in all FTSE 350 companies.

Progressive thinking, from the inside out

The Recruiter Award nomination also recognises the fact that Green Park practises what it preaches, with diversity of thought encouraged from the top down throughout the organisation. We are proud to have been awarded the Hampton-Alexander Enhanced Code of Conduct, Beyond FTSE 350 accreditation, for our dedication to increasing gender balance on Boards and have also received accreditations for quality and environmental standards in line with ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation).

These innovations have helped Green Park win 11 major industry honours in the last year, including Diversity and Inclusion Champion Awards at both the Recruitment International and Inclusive Companies Awards; MSDUK Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2018; Business Leader of the Year at the Recruitment International Awards and IRP Awards and Best Executive Search Firm Director by the M&A Today Global Awards.

The big night’s approaching fast and – fingers crossed – the 9th May will see the continuation of this winning streak as Green Park adds more prestigious titles to this list of accolades.
