Research & Delivery
Svetlana Chigozie Onye is a researcher in Green Parks’ Civil Society and Government Practice. Before joining Green Park in February 2022, Svetlana worked in Policy and Research in local authority sector and as a writer for social and political media platforms.
Svetlana has completed an MSc in the Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice and a BA in Human Rights and Creative Writing. Her dissertation titled 'A False Conscious Liberation: How Colonial Christianity Was Used as A Weapon to Break Down the Traditional Igbo Tribe' was published via Joys Journal. Svetlana is also the founder of Not Actually Radical, an educational platform that uses the power of education to unlearn and incite the conscious liberation of a borderless diasporic community.
Svetlana joined Green Park because of her passion for working alongside leading charities and humanitarian organisations to appoint the best candidates to drive societal impact. Green Parks reputation and commitment to championing diversity and inclusion was also a major contributing factor. Bringing her passion for equality and justice to the Green Park team, Svetlana’s natural curiosity and passion for the industry allows her to find impactful candidates for her clients.
