At the end of 2021, Green Park welcomed another new face to the growing team. Jody Goldsworthy joins the business as Managing Director, Consulting, to deliver world-class leadership and board development, assessment and culture advisory services.
Since her days as a business graduate in Australia, Jody has built a remarkable track record in talent, organisational development and management consulting, both in the public and private sectors. Key roles include leading a consultancy start-up for a major UK Search firm; overseeing two international capability assessment practices; and steering a professional services division for a global consultancy. With a holistic view of the industry plus sector-specific experience, Jody is the perfect person to head up Green Park’s Consultancy & Leadership Services Practice.
Creating high-performing leadership consultancy services is my passion. Green Park is already a successful challenger alternative to corporate vanilla consultancies and there’s a strong foundation for further growth. I am looking forward to expanding and scaling our consultancy expertise; high quality tools; and further supporting an impressive client list. There’s tremendous potential in our tech-enabled tools and methods which support the full talent lifecycle.
Jody believes that effective leadership consultancy could make all the difference for organisations in today’s turbulent times. She cites a series of challenges, including the pandemic, our workforce demographics now featuring five generations, the escalating climate emergency and our need to create more inclusive cultures, all of which require boards to be agile, innovative and open to modern approaches.
Organisations require sophisticated leaders who can navigate uncertainty, a tough financial climate and a war for talent. There’s also a pressing need to build inclusive cultures that enable diverse workforces to flourish.
This last point is one of the reasons that Jody joined Green Park. In addition to the professional opportunities on offer, she was drawn to the team’s genuine desire to move the dial on diversity. Jody’s own values strongly align with those of Green Park and she sees the Diversity, Inclusion, Culture and Ethics (DICE) Consultancy as a unique strength, with further potential for expansion of inclusive leadership development services.
Green Park has specialised in ED&I since 2006. Now the world is catching up and it’s great to be a part of the organisation which pioneered this shift in perspective.
Although it’s still early days for Jody, she’s already consulting clients and working on various projects to build out the leadership and consultancy proposition. Talented, passionate and driven, Jody is ready to bring her extensive knowledge to Green Park’s growing client base and help more organisations build diverse senior leadership teams and more equitable workplace cultures.
