Appointment of a Finance Trustee to the Board

Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.  We offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies, and campaign to increase society’s care of bereaved people. Cruse Bereavement Care has been supporting bereaved people for over 60 years and at this time, with the impact of Covid-19 touching so many families and communities, our services are more in demand now than ever.

The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint a specialist Trustee to bring energy, commitment and a breadth of finance knowledge and expertise to join a dynamic Board. We are seeking a Finance Trustee to join us, with a view to becoming Treasurer in 2021 when the current incumbent completes their term of office.

With a new Chair at the helm and a transformative five-year strategy informed by our learning through the pandemic, this is an exciting time to be part of a progressive and forward-thinking organisation.
