As our new Director of Information Management & Technology you will be central in helping us transform RSSB’s operating model. You will implement an IT business service model, aligning technology with RSSB’s strategic needs. Your principle focus will be to facilitate the successful delivery of our technical roadmap and our extensive capital programme, working in close conjunction with the Head of IM&T Project Portfolio. You will also develop effective, secure and resilient IT services and support the organisation through the development of a highly skilled technology workforce. As RSSB embark on its first year of a new commercial strategy this role will require a technologist with commercial acumen and a customer centric ethos.
We are looking for an experienced and senior board level technologist with experience of owning end-to-end technology roadmaps and a proven track record of embedding technology transformation and service improvement into dynamic and complex environments.
This person will inspire confidence in senior stakeholders and RSSB’s members through the depth of their professional expertise and their ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively both upwards and downwards across the organisation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer focus and an optimum balance of strategic vision and delivery capability. You will be great at leading people, able to galvanise and motivate teams and will relish the responsibility and accountability that comes with the role.
