How would managers practically use DEJIBot?

Think of DEJIBot as Alexa for inclusive leadership – available 24/7, non-judgmental, and always just a question away.

On WhatsApp, Teams, Slack, or a web browser, you just login and ask any question you want. You don’t know to be a prompting expert - just ask the question as though you were messaging a coach or HRBP.

We already have DEI training. Why would we need DEJIBot too? Isn’t it pretty much the same thing?

We don’t see DEJIBot as a replacement for, or duplication of, your existing training. We see it as a way to boost the effectiveness of your training through continuous repetition and just-in-time interaction beyond the once-off classroom session.

We already have an internal chatbot. Why would we need DEJIBot too?

DEJIBot can reference your policies and trainings but it isn’t an HR policy bot or an HR self-service bot.

DEJIBot is specifically designed to address challenges related to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. Unlike general-purpose AI chatbots that handle a broad range of queries, DEJIBot focuses on providing guidance and coaching on DE&I issues, making it unique in its mission and functionality.

Because it isn’t built by your team, there is an additional layer of trust that means managers can get real-time, confidential guidance for controversial, potentially offensive, or “un-PC” questions.

DEJIBot’s simple, concise advice can steps to take, policies to follow, and suggested talking points. Its answers are based on hundreds of real conversations, interviews, and focus groups with diverse employees.

What about just… Googling these questions?

We love Google too but it offers generic answers that are not specific to your industry, your culture, your company, or your location. DEJIBot can customise for all of the above.

Google does not guarantee that the results that rank highest on the search are the best results or the most accurate ones. The highest ranked results may just be the most popular or paid promotions, depending on the keywords used.

Results may not even be related to the topic or question asked - it all depends on where, when, and how you ask the question.

Why don’t you have more data on the impact?

The first version of DEJIBot was built in March 2024, we registered as a business in May 2024, and we went out to our first pilot users at Co-Op, Sonnedix, and SignHealth in July/August 2024. As a startup in testing phase, we haven’t had the time to collect more quantitative data on our long-term impact - yet!
