The Role

It provides science and technology advice and services to solve defence and security problems. The HR Director is a key member of the Senior Leadership team and responsible for all aspects of HR strategy and delivery. Supported by a team of 50 people, they provide HR services across the Dstl business of around 4,000 employees and with a turnover of £600m. It operates from three core sites in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Kent.

The Person

The individual will be qualified CIPD with proven experience of leading an HR function which contributes to the organisation’s effectiveness through provision of high quality HR services. They will have experience of successfully tackling difficult HR issues and developing and delivering innovative HR policies.
