The Role
As Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for all operations and delivery. This senior leadership role includes global operations across the areas of Project Management, Planning, Programme Management, Client Services, and IT. Reporting to the CEO, this role will ensure our client’s operational platform aligns closely with the commercial requirements of the business and continues to delivery best practice approaches to both internal and external clients. The Person
Required skills / knowledge / experience:

  • At least 10 + years of results-driven operational experience, in a senior and varied operations management role within a people led business.
  • Degree qualified essential, ideally with a post graduate qualification

  • Ability to provide strategic leadership in managing technology and operational functions
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management, including experience of dealing with financial or corporate clients

Green Park is partnering with a renowned global Private Equity firm with the establishment of one of their new propositions - the creation of a new high street retailer, with a circa of 25 to 75 stores within apparel.

The Interim Assignment
We require an established, hands on SME Finance Director who has a proven career within retail, preferably high street apparel.  The Interim Finance Director will be joining a newly established team who have been put in place by the global Private Equity firm with the intention of creating a new apparel brand to hit the British high-street.  This role will be incredibly hands on and will require your assistance in the creation of a new company and new retail stores.  This role will cover the end to end finance from statutory to commercial, along with the creation of a new finance team and systems.

The Interim Manager
The successful Interim Finance Director will need to be dedicated and display similar experience in an incredibly hands on position in business’s with a circa £50 to £150 million per year turnover.  Ideally you will have exposure of Private Equity and the pressures that come with this.  You will be a smart, creative, compelling and driven. The Interim Assignment
We require an Interim Sales and Marketing Director (Turnaround and Restructuring) to join a newly established programme team who are being appointed with the challenge of completing a European business review, country by country of failing units in need of turn around / restructuring. You will be working with the senior leadership team of each country, creating an end to end business review and then after successfully completing the review you will then enter a recommendation, design and implementation of a turnaround model that will dynamically restructure the environment to balance competing priorities, including closely managing liquidity, anticipating unforeseen risks and opportunities, and communicating with key constituents.

The Interim Manager
You will need to be an expert in B2B Sales and Marketing within the service environment delivering best practice, with an abundance of exposure within turnaround / restructuring environments. You will have gained this exposure through tenure at a leading B2B European organisation either within technology, telecommunications or wider business to business sales.  In addition, it would be heavily beneficial if you’ve had Private Equity or Management Consultancy exposure prior.  As a turnaround professional you will need to demonstrate a practical, results-oriented mind-set that understands that, in these situations, failure is not an option.  This role is pan-European, therefore you will constantly be travelling Monday to Friday. Ideally, you will be multi-lingual within European languages, however this is not a necessity, but Spanish/German will be looked upon favourably.
