How Green Park works
1. Submit your details to Green Park Interim & Executive.
Please submit your details to us by visiting http://www.green-park.co.uk/interim-managers/index.asp. At this stage, we also request you complete our online Competency Assessment. This assessment allows you to compare your core competencies against those that fit the profile of a successful interim executive. The process only takes about 15 minutes.
2. Details registered - if we think we can help you.
We build professional, long-term relationships with our executives through open communications. We treat you with respect, and we will be honest about your prospects. If we don't often fill the sort of assignments you are suited to, we will let you know, so that you can continue to actively manage your career through more appropriate channles.
3. When a suitable opportunity arises, we will contact you to arrange a meeting to discuss the role with you.
Green Park works on a mandated basis. We will contact you when an assignment arises that matches your skills and experience. At this point, we will meet to discuss the requirements of the role, and the way that your competencies could be applied to achieve the goals of the assignment.
4. If we believe your skills and experience match the needs of the role, and you wish to be considered, we will present your details to the client.
If we believe that our client would like to review your details, and you want to go forward for the role, we provide the client your resume, as well as your assessment results and our interview data.
5. Client meeting.
Our clients always want to meet candidates in person. Usually this take place at the client's premises, but occasionally the meeting will take place at our office or a mutually convenient location. Our clients sometimes request that we also attend these meetings. Following meetings, we endeavour to provide feedback to you within two hours.
6. Role offered.
If all the criteria specified by our client are met, an offer will be made. It is at this point rates and timescales will be finalised. We offer a risk and reward payment structure which allows the sharing of risk between all parties. This involves a percentage of your agreed daily fee being linked to your achievement of pre defined key performance indicators.
7. Deliver services to client
Green Park prefers to deal with interim executives who operate through a limited company and who have opted out of the EAA Regulations. For further information regarding this please go to www.rec.uk.com. We are happy to provide you with details of third parties who supply these services, but advise anyone embarking on their first assignment to seek professional guidance.
Correctly submitted invoices are paid on a monthly basis. Invoice queries receive a response within 24 hours. At the appropriate time you will receive a satisfaction survey from us, which give you a formal channel to feedback on our service. However, we are also interested in your opinion at any time.
8. Exiting assignment - update CV and recommence search for suitable roles.
We will work with you during the closing stages of an assignment to ensure that the client receives the greatest benefit from your presence, maximising the legacy value. We will also start informing you of forthcoming assignments which may be of interest to you.
Following the completion of the assignment, we will obtain a report from the client documenting their thoughts on how the project went, including pointers for improvements in Green Park's service.
