Client Description:

Green Park is proud to be retained by an iconic heritage retailer who would consider themselves a foundation amongst the British high street.

Background of assignment:

With retailing across the UK evolving with the advancement of omni-channel and the increasing demand by a predominantly mobile first consumer, our client is looking to evolve it’s processes and procedures to make them business fit for today’s retail environment.

As part of this ambitious transformation, our client is looking to establish a programme team who will be key in creating and shaping the business to be in the best position to advance, reporting directly to the CEO and Non-Executive board.

Assignment description:

As part of the newly formed team, we require a Senior People Director to spearhead an HR Transformation, focusing on organization design, development, HR process and alignment of people.

The HR Transformation Lead will look to partner all areas of this heritage business covering non-executive, executive and operational board. They will be key in un-raveling a complex heritage retailer and setting them on a path of change, ultimately allowing business success for the future.

Candidate description:

You will need to be an established HR and People Lead, previously operating within complex mid-market SME, Private Equity or privately owned retailers, ideally with a focus towards luxury general merchandise or fashion retail.

You will need to have significant exposure of HR transformation within retail environments, demonstrating previous success by influence whilst being looked upon as emotionally intelligent, empathetic with gravitas to be considered for this team.
