Client description Green Park is thrilled to be exclusively partnering a global household high-street retailer (UK&I Branches north of 350) with their continued journey and brand re-positioning with the appointment of an Interim HR Director – UK&I reporting into the Managing Director, UK&I. Assignment description This role would suit a strongly established retail HR Director with a proven background in high street retail, preferably fashion and apparel across either the UK&I or global. The role will be in place for circa 6 months with your remit to create and drive forward the talent agenda for the UK&I, developing and implementing the leadership agenda, performance management and working closely with the Learning and Development Manager. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for someone to add value quickly to the business. Candidate description The desired candidate will need to come from a leading high street retailer, preferably fashion and apparel within the mid to large cap markets, this can either be within UK&I or global markets. You will need to be a proven executive interim within growth and transformation roles having the ability to influence whilst partnering peers. You will need to be available to start before Christmas and be prepared to travel across UK&I.

Our client is currently seeking an EMEA Human Resources Director. With major contracts with a number of the top sports teams globally, this brand has become an official supplier for a number of major sports leagues. As EMEA Human Resources Director and under the strategic direction of the VP EMEA and the VP Human Resources, the HRD role will provide tactical and strategic Human Resources support for the EMEA region. This role will design, develop and lead the regional talent strategies that support the business direction. Managing the compensation programmes for all employees and implementing the performance management process to ensure effective goal setting and reviews of region’s employees, you will implement and develop staff training programmes. Communicating and implementing HR policies and procedures, you will ensure legal compliance with applicable employment laws, provide coaching to managers and employees, track trends and work with other members of the business to make recommendations for improvements. Partnering effectively with corporate HR functions to define appropriate global processes and policies, you will support the client’s ability to achieve the business strategy.
The Human Resources Director / HRD will have demonstrable generalist HR experience in the retail sector, with a good understanding of employment law across Europe. Skilled in compensation, benefits, staffing, recruiting and the selection and development of managers and employees, you will be able to develop and execute HR initiatives in a strategic, results oriented environment.
