Background of assignment:
This an exciting time to join our client through what would arguably be one of the biggest digital transformations to hit the British high-street in recent years. With a loyal customer base of 7 million visitors per week, our clients challenge is to create a leading multi-channel proposition which embraces their heritage, product range and high levels of service their customer currently receive in store by replicating this online in the digital arena.
As part of this ambitious plan, our client is looking to establish a digital team who will be key in creating and shaping a newly formed team based in their new central London digital hub.
The newly created role, Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for the creation, implementation and road map for all digital marketing across all channels. You will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers to our clients brand whilst maximizing the lifetime value of these customers once they have been acquired.
You will be reporting directly to the Multi-Channel Director whilst partnering the Marketing Director with implanting a dashboard appropriate to report key results of marketing activity, whether they have achieved their objectives whilst improving brand communications and cooperation across the offline/online marketing teams.
You will need to be an established digital marketing expert within multi-channel retail, previously operating at either a Head of or Senior Manager within a substantial listed or equivalent private, PE retailer to be considered for this search.
